42 Below are industry pioneers of the way of wastelessness. The Plastic Island campaign was designed to educate consumers about the waste associated with the alcohol industry and to challenge bartenders to reuse and recycle as much as possible.  Working with 42 BELOW Vodka, we produced metal straws and coasters and neck tags made with recycled, plantable paper infused with seeds of native Australian plants.

We also took glass recycling to the next level by developing a way to reuse the empty glass 42 BELOW bottles as custom highball glasses that are currently being used in venues across Sydney. This project was entirely lo-fi, we hand cut, processed and polished every bottle by hand and no two are exactly alike. We also figured out a way to reuse the top half of the bottles as cool, on-shelf planters.
